Msc means &quot;modified single crochet&quot;. You can find a tutorial showing how to make this stitch among my tutorials. Basically it is made like a single crochet in the back loop only, just in the last step, when you have two loops on your hook, yarn under instead of yarning over and pull the yarn through both loops on your hook. You can see how to make this stitch in the photo instructions too. 2 msc means that you should make one modified single crochet in each of the next two stitches. I have crochet bags and in order to stop your work for bottom and continue with sides i had to do 1 round in back loop only.
