In this step-by-step crochet stitch tutorial I show how to make the little arches stitch. This crochet stitch tutorial includes detailed photo instructions. For this crochet stitch you should know how to make a single crochet. The little arches stitch is a repeat of one row. It is a reversible crochet stitch and it looks the same on both sides. It is very easy to make and it is suitable for crochet beginners. The fabric turns out light and lacy.

Row 1
1. Start by chaining a multiple of four. You will start working in the fourth chain from your hook.
2. So, make a single crochet in the fourth chain from your hook.
3. Chain three.
4. Make a single crochet in the next stitch.
5. Chain three.
6. Skip two stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.
7. Then repeat. Chain three.
8. Make a single crochet in the next stitch.
9. Chain three, skip two stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.
10. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.
Row 2
11. Chain three and turn your work around.
12. Make a single crochet in the first chain three space.
13. Chain three.
14. Make a single crochet in the same chain three space.
15. Chain three.
16. Skip the next chain three space and make a single crochet in the next chain three space.
17. Chain three.
18. Make a single crochet in the same chain three space.
19. Then repeat. Chain three.
20. Skip the next chain three space and in the next chain three space make a single crochet, chain three and another single crochet.
21. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.
22. Then chain three.
23. Make a single crochet in the turning chain space. For the rest of the pattern repeat row 2.
