The parquet stitch

In this step-by-step crochet tutorial I show how to make the parquet crochet stitch. For this stitch you should know how to make a single and a double crochet. It is a very easy stitch to make and it is suitable for beginners. It is a repeat of two rows. The fabric of the parquet crochet stitch is quite light, so it would work great for a light crochet summer top.

For this tutorial I use Hjertagarn DIAMOND mercerized cotton 100% 8/4 50g, color: 1361 (grey), and a 2.0 mm hook.
