Photo instructions for the simple V lines crochet stitch
Row 1

1. Start by chaining multiples of three. You will start working in the second chain from your hook.

2. So, make a single crochet in the second chain from your hook.

3. Then chain one.

4. Skip one stitch and make a single crochet in the next one.

5. Chain two.

6. Skip two stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.

7. Then repeat: chain two, skip two stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.

8. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row until your have two stitches left.

9. Then chain one.

10. Skip one stitch and make a single crochet in the last stitch.
Row 2

11. Chain three and turn your work around. Chain three counts as a double crochet. Next you will make a V stitch in the next single crochet of the previous row.

12. So, make a double crochet in the next single crochet of the previous row.

13. Chain one.

14. Then make the second double crochet in the same stitch. You have just made a V stitch!

15. Make another V stitch in the next single crochet of the previous row: make a double crochet, chain one and make the second double crochet in the same stitch.

16. Continue making V stitches in every single crochet of the previous row until the end of the row until you have two stitches left.

17. Then make a double crochet in the last stitch of the row.
Row 3

18. Chain one and turn your work around. Chain one does not count as a stitch.

19. Make a single crochet in the very first stitch.

20. Chain one.

21. Then make a single crochet in the chain one space of the previous row (in the chain one space of the V stitch).

22. Chain two.

23. Make a single crochet in the next chain one space.

24. Then repeat: chain two and make a single crochet in the next chain one space.

25. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row until you have two stitches left.

26. Then chain one.

27. Make a single crochet in the turning chain. For the rest of the pattern repeat rows 2 and 3.
