In this step-by-step crochet stitch tutorial I show how to make a triangle cluster stitch. This crochet stitch tutorial includes detailed photo instructions. For this crochet stitch you should know how to make a single crochet and a double crochet. The tutorial below shows how to make a double crochet three together stitch. The triangle cluster stitch is a repeat of four rows. The fabric turns out light and lacy.

Photo instructions for the triangle cluster stitch
Row 1

1. Start by chaining a multiple of six plus two. You will start working in the second chain from your hook.

2. So, make a single crochet in the second chain from your hook.

3. Chain seven.

4. Skip five stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.

5. Then repeat. Chain seven.

6. Skip five stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.

7. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row. The row should end with a single crochet.
Row 2

8. Chain five and turn your work around.

9. Then make a single crochet in the first chain seven space.

10. Chain two. Next you will make a double crochet three together in the next single crochet.

11. So, yarn over.

12. Insert your hook in the next single crochet and yarn over.

13. Pull the yarn through. Now you have three loops on your hook.

14. Yarn over.

15. Pull the yarn through the first two loops. Now you have two loops on your hook. The first leg is ready.

16. Yarn over.

17. Insert your hook in the same stitch and yarn over.

18. Pull the yarn through. Now you have four loops on your hook.

19. Yarn over.

20. Pull the yarn through the first two loops. Now you have three loops on your hook. The second leg is ready.

21. Yarn over.

22. Insert your hook in the same stitch and yarn over.

23. Pull the yarn through. Now you have five loops on your hook.

24. Yarn over.

25. Pull the yarn through the first two loops. Now you have four loops on your hook.

26. Yarn over.

27. Pull the yarn through all loops on your hook. You have just made a double crochet three together!

28. Chain two.

29. Make a single crochet in the next chain seven space.

30. Then repeat. Chain two.

31. Make a double crochet three together in the next single crochet.

32. Chain two.

33. Make a single crochet in the next chain seven space.

34. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.

35. At the end of the row chain two.

36. Then make a double crochet in the last single crochet of the previous row.
Row 3

37. Chain six and turn your work around.

38. Make a single crochet in the next single crochet of the previous row.

39. Chain seven.

40. Make a single crochet in the next single crochet.

41. Then repeat. Chain seven and make a single crochet in the next single crochet.

42. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.

43. At the end of the row chain three.

44. Then make a double crochet in the third chain of the turning chain.
Row 4

45. Chain one and turn your work around. Chain one does not count as a stitch.

46. Make a single crochet in the first stitch.

47. Chain two.

48. Make a double crochet three together in the next single crochet.

49. Chain two.

50. Make a single crochet in the next chain seven space.

51. Then repeat. Chain two.

52. Make a double crochet three together in the next single crochet.

53. Chain two.

54. Make a single crochet in the next chain seven space.

55. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.

56. At the end of the row skip the next three chains of the turning chain and make the last single crochet in the next chain.
Row 5

57. Chain one and turn your work around. Chain one does not count as a stitch.

58. Make a single crochet in the first stitch.

59. Chain seven.

60. Make a single crochet in the next single crochet.

61. Then repeat. Chain seven.

62. Make a single crochet in the next single crochet.

63. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.

64. At the end of the row make the last single crochet in the last single crochet of the previous row.
