In this step-by-step crochet stitch tutorial I show how to make the lacy V and double V stitch. This crochet stitch tutorial includes detailed photo instructions. For this crochet stitch you should know how to make a single crochet and a double crochet. The lacy V and double V stitch is a repeat of two rows. It is easy to make and it is suitable for crochet beginners. The fabric turns out light and lacy.

Photo instructions for the lacy V and double V stitch
Row 1
1. Start by chaining a multiple of eight plus two. You will start working in the second chain from your hook.
2. So, make a single crochet in the second chain from your hook.
3. Chain two, skip three stitches and make two double crochets in the next stitch.
4. Chain one and make two double crochets in the same stitch.
5. Chain two, skip three stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.
6. Then repeat. Chain two, skip three stitches and make two double crochets in the next stitch.
7. Chain one and make two double crochets in the same stitch.
8. Chain two, skip three stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.
9. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row. The row should end with a single crochet.
Row 2
10. Chain four and turn your work around.
11. Make a double crochet in the first stitch.
12. Chain two and make a single crochet in the next chain one space.
13. Chain two and make a double crochet in the next single crochet.
14. Chain three and make a double crochet in the same stitch.
15. Chain two and make a single crochet in the next chain one space.
16. Then repeat. Chain two and make a double crochet in the next single crochet.
17. Chain three, and make a double crochet in the same stitch.
18. Chain two and make a single crochet in the next chain one space.
19. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.
20. At the end of the row chain two and make a double crochet in the last stitch.
21. Chain one and make a double crochet in the same stitch.
Row 3
22. Chain one and turn your work around. Chain one does not count as a stitch.
23. Make a single crochet in the first stitch.
24. Chain two and make two double crochets in the next single crochet.
25. Chain one and make two double crochets in the same stitch.
26. Chain two and make a single crochet in the next chain three space.
27. Then repeat. Chain two and make two double crochets in the next single crochet.
28. Chain one and make two double crochets in the same stitch.
29. Chain two and make a single crochet in the next chain three space.
30. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.
31. At the end of the row make the last single crochet in the turning chain space. For the rest of the pattern repeat rows 2-3.
