In this step-by-step crochet stitch tutorial I show how to make the double crochet net stitch. This crochet stitch tutorial includes detailed photo instructions. For this crochet stitch you should know how to make a double crochet. The double crochet net stitch is a repeat of one row. It is a reversible crochet stitch and it looks the same on both sides. This stitch is very easy to make and it is suitable for crochet beginners. The fabric turns out very light and lacy.

Photo instructions for the double crochet net stitch
Row 1

1. Start by chaining a multiple of four. You will start working in the eighth chain from your hook.

2. So, make a double crochet in the eighth chain from your hook.

3. Chain four.

4. Skip three stitches and make a double crochet in the next stitch.

5. Then repeat. Chain four.

6. Skip three stitches and make a double crochet in the next stitch.

7. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row. The row should end with a double crochet.
Row 2

8. Chain five and turn your work around.

9. Make a double crochet in the first chain four space.

10. Chain four.

11. Make a double crochet in the next chain four space.

12. Then repeat. Chain four and make a double crochet in the next chain four space.

13. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row. Then chain four as usual.

14. Skip the next two chains of the turning chain and make a double crochet in the next chain. For the rest of the pattern repeat row 2.
