Row 1
1. Start by chaining a multiple of eight plus six. You will start working in the tenth chain from your hook.
2. So, make a single crochet in the tenth chain from your hook.
3. Chain two and make another single crochet in the same stitch.
4. Chain three, skip three stitches and make two double crochets in the next stitch.
5. Chain three, skip three stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.
6. Chain two and make another single crochet in the same stitch.
7. Then repeat. Chain three, skip three stitches and make two double crochets in the next stitch.
8. Chain three, skip three stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.
9. Chain two and make another single crochet in the same stitch.
10. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row, until you have four stitches left.
11. Then chain three, skip three stitches and make a double crochet in the last stitch.
Row 2
12. Chain one and turn your work around. Chain one does not count as a stitch.
13. Make a single crochet in the first stitch.
14. Make a single crochet in the next chain three space.
15. Chain three and make a double crochet in the next chain two space.
16. Chain three and make a single crochet in the next chain three space.
17. Chain one and make a single crochet in the next chain three space.
18. Chain three and make a double crochet in the next chain two space.
19. Then repeat. Chain three and make a single crochet in the next chain three space.
20. Chain one and make a single crochet in the next chain three space.
21. Chain three and make a double crochet in the next chain two space.
22. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.
23. At the end of the row chain three and make two single crochets in the turning chain space.

24. Chain six and turn your work around.
