In this step-by-step crochet stitch tutorial I show how to make the lacy mini fan stitch. This crochet stitch tutorial includes photo instructions and a video tutorial (see below). For this crochet stitch you should know how to make a single crochet and a double crochet. The tutorial below shows how to make a double crochet two together stitch. The lacy mini fan stitch is a repeat of two rows. The fabric turns out lacy and light.
For this tutorial I use Hjertegarn DIAMOND mercerized cotton 100% 8/4 50 g yarn, color: 3304 (lilac), and a 2.0 mm hook.

Row 1

1. Start by chaining a multiple of eight plus four. You will start working in the fourth chain from your hook.

2. So, make a double crochet in the fourth chain from your hook.

3. Chain three.

4. Skip three stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.

5. Chain three.

6. Skip three stitches and make three double crochets in the next stitch.

7. Chain three.

8. Skip three stitches and make a single crochet in the next stitch.

9. Then repeat: chain three, skip three stitches, make three double crochets, chain three, skip three stitches and make a single crochet.

10. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row. At the end of the row chain three as usually.

11. Then skip three stitches and make two double crochets in the last stitch.
Row 2

12. Chain one and turn your work around. Chain one does not count as a stitch.

13. Make a single crochet in the first stitch.

14. Chain three. Next you will make a double crochet two together working in the next two chain three spaces.

15. So, yarn over.

16. Insert your hook in the first chain three space and yarn over.

17. Pull the yarn through. Now you have three loops on your hook.

18. Yarn over.

19. Pull the yarn through the first two loops on your hook. Now you have two loops on your hook. The first leg is ready.

20. Yarn over.

21. Insert your hook in the second chain three space and yarn over.

22. Pull the yarn through. Now you have four loops on your hook.

23. Yarn over.

24. Pull the yarn through the first two loops on your hook. Now you have three loops on your hook. The second leg is ready.

25. Yarn over.

26. Pull the yarn through all three loops on your hook. You have just made a double crochet two together!

27. Chain three.

28. Make a single crochet in the second double crochet of the previous row.

29. Chain three. Next you will make a double crochet two together working in the next two chain three spaces.

30. So, make the first leg in the first chain three space.

31. Then make the second leg in the second chain three space.

32. Yarn over and complete the double crochet two together.

33. Chain three.

34. Make a single crochet in the second double crochet.

35. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.

36. At the end of the row chain three as usually.

37. Then make the last single crochet in the turning chain.
Row 3

38. Chain three and turn your work around. Chain three counts as a stitch.

39. Make a double crochet in the very first stitch.

40. Chain three.

41. Make a single crochet in the double crochet two together.

42. Chain three.

43. Then make three double crochets in the next single crochet.

44. Chain three and make a single crochet in the next double crochet two together.

45. Then repeat: chain three, make three double crochets in the next single crochet, chain three and make a single crochet in the next double crochet two together.

46. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row. At the end of the row chain three as usually.

47. Then make two double crochets in the last stitch. For the rest of the pattern repeat rows 2-3.
