This is a crochet tutorial for connecting with a slip stitch. A slip stitch is used very often. When you work in rounds, often you have to connect the end of the round to its beginning.

The video tutorial below if for making a magic ring and for connecting with a slip stitch.
Photo tutorial

1. When you work in rounds, often you need to connect the last stitch of the round to the first one.

2. To connect with a slip stitch, insert your hook into the top of the first stitch. Your hook should be under both “v” loops.

3. Yarn over.

4. Pull the yarn through. Now you have two loops on your hook.

5. Pull the loop you have just made through the other loop. You have just made a slip stitch and the end of the round is connected to the beginning. Done!
