Materials and tools
Yarn: For this tutorial I use Soft FRAYA Cotton 8/4 100% Organic cotton 50g – 180 m yarn, color: dusty tulip. However, you can use your favorite yarn depending on the crochet project.
Hook: I use a 2.0 mm hook. If you are using a different yarn, choose the hook size that is recommended on your yarn label.

1. Start by chaining a multiple of seven plus four. You will start working in the fourth chain from your hook.
2. So, make two double crochets in the fourth chain from your hook.
3. Chain two, skip six stitches and make two double crochets in the next stitch.
4. Chain one and make two more double crochets in the same stitch.
5. Then repeat. Chain two, skip six stitches and make two double crochets in the next stitch.
6. Chain one and make two more double crochets in the same stitch.
7. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row, until you have seven stitches left.
8. Then skip six stitches and make three double crochets in the last stitch.
Row 2
9. Chain three and turn your work around. Chain three counts as a stitch.
10. Make two double crochets in the first stitch.
11. Chain two and make two double crochets in the next chain one space.
12. Chain one and make two more double crochets in the same chain one space.
13. Then repeat. Chain two and make two double crochets in the next chain one space.
14. Chain one and make two double crochets in the same chain one space.
15. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.
16. At the end of the row chain two and make three double crochets in the turning chain.
17. Chain three and turn your work around. Chain three counts as a stitch.
18. Make two double crochets in the next chain two space.
19. Chain one and make two more double crochets in the same chain two space.
20. Then repeat. Chain two and make two double crochets in the next chain two space.
21. Chain one and make two more double crochets in the same chain two space.
22. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.
23. At the end of the row make a double crochet in the turning chain.
Row 3
24. Chain three and turn your work around. Chain three counts as a stitch.

Row 4
31. Chain three and turn your work around. Chain three counts as a stitch.
32. Make two double crochets in the first stitch.
33. Then repeat. Chain two and in the next chain two space make two double crochets, chain one and two more double crochets.
34. Continue working in the same way until the end of the row.
35. At the end of the row chain two and make three double crochets in the turning chain. For the rest of the pattern repeat rows 2-5.
