In this free step-by-step crochet stitch tutorial I show how to make the feather stitch. This stitch is a solid, textured crochet stitch. It is also a reversible crochet stitch that looks the same on both sides. It creates dense, durable, thick fabric and works great for potholders, washcloths, decorative pillow covers, laptop sleeves, bags and other projects that need structure and durability. This stitch can also be used in decorative crochet projects for the home.

This crochet stitch tutorial includes detailed photo instructions. The feather stitch is a repeat of one row. For this crochet stitch you should know how to make half double crochet. The tutorial below shows how to make a feather stitch.
