The bird footprint stitch

In this step-by-step crochet tutorial I show how to make this beautiful crochet stitch. I am not sure about the name of this stitch, so I called it the bird footprint crochet stitch. For this stitch you should know how to make a single crochet and a double crochet. Photo instructions below show in detail how to make a back post single crochet. The bird footprint crochet stitch is a repeat of two rows and it has beautiful texture. On each side it looks a bit different. The fabric turns out on the thicker side.

For this tutorial I use Soft FRAYA Cotton 8/4 100% Organic cotton 50g – 180 m yarn, color: sand, and a 2.0 mm hook.
