In this step-by-step crochet tutorial I show how to make the simple shell crochet stitch. It is quite easy to make this stitch and it is suitable for beginners. You only need to know how to make single and double crochets. The simple shell crochet stitch is a repeat of four rows, but out of four two rows are just single crochets and the other two have a very simple motif that is repeated throughout the row. I hope that you will give it a try.
For this tutorial I use Soft FRAYA Cotton 8/4 100% Organic cotton 50g – 180 m yarn, color: navy blue, and a 2.0 mm hook.
