The small shell and V stitch

In this step-by-step crochet tutorial I show how to make the small shell and V crochet stitch. It is very easy to make and it is suitable for beginners. For this stitch you should know how to make a single crochet and a double crochet. The photo tutorial below shows how to make the V stitch. The small shell and V crochet stitch is a repeat of two rows. This stitch works great with more than one color yarn. In this example I use two colors and I change yarn color every row (I cut the yarn after every row).

For this tutorial I use Soft FRAYA Cotton 8/4 100% Organic cotton 50g – 180 m yarn, colors: navy blue and blue agave, and a 2.0 mm hook.
