In this post you can find my newest free crochet pattern for a Christmas ornament: cross stitch Christmas tree with a star. You could attach it to your packed Christmas presents as a nice detail or just hang it on your Christmas tree as a decoration. The pattern is easy, so even beginners can make this project pretty fast.
I this pattern I use cross stitch double crochet, which gives an interesting texture to this piece. If you are not familiar with this stitch, you can check the tutorial that I prepared earlier (here). I also use this stitch in my cross stitch dishcloth, so if you want to practice it, that could be a great project too. And don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, I will be glad to help!
Good luck!
