In this step-by-step tutorial I show how to make the extended single crochet back loop only working in rounds. Even though it might sound complicated, this stitch is quite simple to make and it is suitable for beginners. It is a repeat of one round. The texture of this stitch looks very interesting and the fabric turns out dense but not very thick.
I have also made a tutorial for an extended single crochet working in rows, you can find it here. The texture of the latter stitch is quite different.
