1. Start by making a chain. Next you will have to work in the second chain from your hook.
2. So, make a single crochet in the second chain from your hook.
3. Continue making single crochets in every stitch until the end of the row.
4. Then turn your work (not around) and make one more single crochet in the end of the chain (in the same stitch where you have just worked in).
5. Then make one more single crochet in the same stitch (now that stitch has three single crochets).
6. Keep making single crochets on the other side of the chain in every stitch until you reach the beginning.
7. Then make one single crochet in the end of the chain (in the same stitch where you have just worked in). Count the stiches.
8. To continue with the next round, don’t join with a slip stitch, but instead start working in the top of the first single crochet (back loop only) of the first round.
9. In round 2 you will introduce the second yarn. So, start making the first stitch in round 2 and then take the second yarn. See a tutorial for how to introduce yarn here.
