Crochet coaster Eleanor

Here is a free pattern for a crochet coaster Eleanor. This pattern uses the bar crochet stitch which has a very pronounced texture.

It is an easy pattern composed of single crochets and front post double crochets. Photo instructions show how to make this coaster step-by-step, including a front post double crochet. So, don’t hesitate even if you are just a beginner.

Notes

The size of my coaster is 9.5 x 9.5 cm. You will be working in rows. You will work in rows. This pattern uses the bar stitch. Photo instructions below show the main steps how to make this stitch. It is a repeat of two rows. The size of the coaster can be easily adjusted by chaining more or less in the beginning (keep in mind that it should be a multiple of three) and repeating rows 4 and 5 until you will form a nice rectangle. The last row should be the one with single crochets.
