In this detailed photo tutorial it is shown how to make the star stitch. You need to crochet two rows to get one row of stars, thus, you should keep repeating two rows until you reach the desired size of your crochet piece. To make this stitch, you need to know how to make a half double crochet (hdc). The instructions below show how to make a star stitch when you work in rows. If you would like to see how it can be done working in rounds, you can take a look at my tutorial for a small star stitch bag here.
For this tutorial I use Hjertegarn DIAMOND mercerized cotton 100% 8/4 50 g yarn, color: 3304 (lilac), and a 2.0 mm hook.

Gracias!

July 10, 2022 at 3:13 pmHola!
